A mezzanine floor is an intermediate floor level installed in industrial buildings, such as warehouses, manufacturing facilities and even retail storage units. It is a self-supporting structure that may take up to a third of the overall floorspace, maximising available space by increasing vertical capacity of the building.

Additional flooring levels can be used for storage, picking, production or office units, allowing you to utilise the available space in the most cost-effective manner.

Wickens designs and manufactures bespoke mezzanine floors tailored to your specific requirements, while assuring system safety through structural calculations that account for specific loads and impacts.  We ensure that only high-quality steel is used in manufacturing, and all manufacturing processes comply with CE and UKCA standards, as well as ISO 9001:2015.

• A variety of barriers for edge protection, ranging from light-duty pedestrian handrail to heavy-duty twin channel option completed with a handrail.
