Origin has recently invested in a brand-new 55,000 ft² warehouse facility in Bicester to support its rapidly growing business and safeguard its supply chain against ongoing economic and environmental uncertainties. The new site, consisting of two purpose-designed units, provides substantial space for the storage of aluminium profiles and key components used in Origin’s high-volume manufacturing operations.
To optimise warehouse efficiency and ensure the safe storage of long-length aluminium stock, Origin required a robust, scalable racking system. Wickens Engineering was selected to design, manufacture, and install a comprehensive cantilever racking solution tailored to Origin’s operational demands.
